URBAN TALES

Diary of a No
Burning Star Records

The Portuguese band URBAN TALES was formed at the beginning of 2005under the influence of Marcos Cesar, who, for that time, had just leftthe SOUL DESPAIR project in order to concentrate on his new band, resembling ANATHEMA, PARADISE LOST, EVEREVE, ENTWINE, CHARON, OPETH. Ishould say this influence is quite obvious at their debut album "Diaryof a No", which is in melodic gothic metal of Finnish type. And thatmeans an abyss of emotions and personal feelings for 50 minutes. Ican't say that the CD is a sheer hit however there are several reallytouching tracks. Just listen to the second song "In Purity". The firstpressing of CD was released as a digipack edition with bonus DVD, sothe collectors should hurry up. The CD also contains a hidden trackwhich is not marked in a tracklist.

Urban Tales in Rarissimas beneficient gig

(29 February 2008
What a day...we played for a great audience, had the pleasure to share the stage with spectacular musicians, meet lots of people and tried to help, in our unique way, the FEDRA association!

We would like to thank everyone in the association and in the organization of the event, it was a pleasure to be part of such a great gesture and movement!

Congratulations Rarissimas and FEDRA!
